Since the founding of HHC in 1988, the organization has systematically spread its work from locally in Boston to statewide, touching the lives of over 2,400 children every week, and in every family shelter in Massachusetts.

ClimateWorks is a worldwide network of philanthropic and non-governmental organizations whose mission is to support public policies that prevent dangerous climate change and catalyze sustainable global prosperity. Proactively responding to the clear and present threats associated with global climate change, ClimateWorks’ goal is to inspire the adoption of policies that will limit annual global greenhouse gas emissions to 44 billion metric tons by the year 2020 (25 percent below projections) and to 35 billion metric tons by the year 2030 (50 percent below projections) in order to ensure that global average temperatures do not increase by more than 2° centigrade—a threshold that most climate scientists describe as a dangerous, potentially irreversible, tipping point.

The END Fund
The END Fund is a new private philanthropy initiative to reduce the global prevalence of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Founded in 2010, the END Fund’s mission is to mobilize resources to tackle the terrible scourge of neglected diseases, which have a profound effect on health and productivity in the world’s poorest countries. Over 500 million people are estimated to be at risk from these diseases which can be treated for as little as 50 cents per year, or less. The END Fund is seeking to mobilize $1 billion towards solving this problem with specifically $100 million coming from private sources. The fund was seeded with $13 million from a variety of donors.
